A Stay-Connected Culture

July 24, 2012 – At CarePlanners, we try our best to stay in the loop about everything that’s happening in the office.

To stay connected, we always:
1. Bring our personal laptops to work, which ensures that we stay connected and have all of the necessary files and documents available to us at all times, even at home.
2. Receive weekly summaries about all of the recent and exciting developments with the company. Each team in our office contributes to this list.
3. Send out “hot and cold” lists at the end of every week, with a topline of the projects we’ll be working on during the upcoming week. The most important projects and goals are considered “hot” and so on. This practice keeps the team aware of what our colleagues are working on, and helps prevent any dropped balls – usually!
4. Use multiple tools to help us stay organized and efficient. This list includes Dropbox, Evernote, Google Docs, SharePoint, Yammer and others.
We believe that staying connected and communicating well promotes a positive, cohesive company culture that will inevitably lead us to better serve our clients.
